VANESSA MAZZA
Vanessa Mazza is a maker of vocal/lyrical electronica and is currently engaged as artist-in-residence for Perth experimental music night “NoizeMaschin!!”. Vanessa trained privately with Australian Jazz Greats Helen Matthews and London based Anita Wardell. Vanessa was based in London, performing there and has returned to Perth to further develop and record her new material. Last year – given her ongoing personal interest in meditation, she gained certification as a secular meditation teacher.

ANTONIETTA D'ELIA
Antonietta studied piano, voice and music education at the G. Tartini Conservatory in Trieste (Italy). She won first prize in the noted Italian singing competition “Città di Matera” and went on to perform major roles as a soloist with orchestras and choirs in Europe including performances in Rome for the celebration of the Laurea Honoris Causa, broadcast live on RAI 1 TV and on the Italian TV show “Notte di Luce… Aspettando Domenica”. She has ten years of teaching experience in the vocal and music field, working in many different music academies and schools. Antonietta has collaborated with important experts of music education, researching new methods to teach music and voice and is excited to have the opportunity to introduce these new approaches to workshop attendees.
While we have different backgrounds we are both believers that everyone has a voice, can enjoy exploring it and develop their own unique sound. We do not focus on "genre" e.g "classical", "pop" etc but rather the individuals voice - how they want to develop and use their voice for relaxation, expression or performance.
