A chance to own a Perth classic. As a result of moving east is is with much regret that we are selling our much loved Suzanne Marie.
Designed by Len Randall and built by Stew Ward she launched in 1956. Sloop rigged she is an absolute delight to sail (easily sailed single handed). Having a full keel she is a great sea boat and handles the summer chop in the river very well. She will be sorely missed.
Before we get to her more intimate details let me emphasise she is a classic wooden boat that needs constant attention. Unless you have previous experience owning a wooden boat and have the time and commitment required to maintain her, I would suggest this may not be the boat for you. Also no tyre kickers please....
That being said, if I still have your interest.... Like any wooden boat of this vintage she does need some repair work in particular, there are sections of the deck that will need replacing in the near future. However the current custodians have completed significant work:
